I've seen more C body threads on moparts lately. Prices seem to be up on ebay, parts are still cheap as can be. but cars are not as easy to find. Do you think there is some momentum going on these barges. I've got about 5 or 6 cool cars scoped out I want to pick up before people get wise to these cool cars. Mostly convertibles and one 4 door
Absolutely. C's have been gaining slowly for several years, but I have noticed the biggest surge in the last two years with the explosion of E prices. Mopars in general have been getting a lot more exposure the last few years. It is a good thing.
When i bought my 69 monaco 500 about 22 years ago,i also had a plum crazy 71 340 4spd duster. The old guys would be the only ones who were interested in my monaco and the young guys were all over the duster. Now it seems when i pull the cover off the monaco and head out for cruise night, it's mostly the young people giving me the thumbs up and when i'm showing the car at events, alot of the young people are infactuated with the size of the car let alone the trunk.Guys my age grew up with these cars,Montego,s,Impala,s,Fury,s,Bonniville,s etc. These young kids grew up with K-cars,chevettes etc.Look at some of the expressions on these guy,s faces when you pull up beside them in your C-barge.I really think there is a movement going on and not just with with Mopars.Check out all the large pontiacs, fords etc.that are turning up lately.I think the muscle cars are outpricing themselves and more and more gearheads are turning to the large cars, cause, they are out there if you look hard enough and these webb sites make it so much easier.Glen

same reason I got into Mopars in the first place 20 years ago. Everybody was into ford,s and chevy's. Mopars were different, baddass and cheap. How times have changed
Here,s another example why i'll stick with my monaco, because the prices that E-bodies are demanding and getting for their parts are ridiculous.Normally i would probably pay 50-75 dollars for a 26" rad for my monaco on E-bay.Ya gotta check this out.E-bay motors item 8044278661.He's got it listed starting bid 24.99 no res.26"rad.for a 68 cuda.part #2998974.I did some research and this checks out for a 1970 T/A 340 6pak.He definately don,t know what he has there. This is one RARE rad.If any of the mopar guys catch on to this, this will go through the roof.Someones gonna walk into a gold mine if no one catches on.And that's why i'll stick to my "C".Glen

I get the same response with the Windsor... I was in a store in the fall and came out to find a group around my car... since the name was removed during the last paint job.. everyone wanted to know what it was and said about one they knew of as a kid... complimented me on the shape of the car and they tried to guess the year..
I get lots of thumbs up and surprised a few ricers and crustangs at the stop lights.. C-bodies and Big Blocks are great sleepers...

I got a ton of 59 Chrysler parts I can't get 10 cents for. Funny, some of that I paid top dollar for. Either way, the car and all the parts are going Bye Bye. I think the car will bring in some good money
