My buddy had to drive his 50 Dodge in one scene in the low low low budget Sci-Fi film "What's Eating You?" because they didn't know how to shift the Gyromatic semi auto trans!

I've seen a 56 chev that was racked up pretty hard from filming. it was sitting by the airport outside of winnipeg and it looked like it was sideswiped on the drivers side, then hit a pole on the passenger side front and collapsed the whole front end and bent the frame - the rear doors didn't line up, so it must have been a hard hit.
About 18 years ago before I restored by '66 300 'vert, a guy called me and asked me if i'd rent/lease my car for a movie. Man, did I get excited !, I mean, my car, a movie, whoo hooo !! i'd be famous. Then I found out after a little digging that they wanted the car not for a scene, but as a camera platform for a car chase. I had visions of the movie 'Bullet' or 'Crazy Mary Crazy Larry' or whatever, and respectfully declined their request.
