The 67 (66?) style seats have a solid metal (stainless?) back and side trim, they are also low backs. I must have low backs for my vert. The metal trim is much more resilient to wear (and the kicking of children in car seats). Trim combination will work perfect for my interior, I plan to replace the carpeted insert in the back with the Cobra material on my door panels and top.
Like I said before, the foam doesn't bother me. As long as the trim is complete and savable, and the frame is solid. I don't want to have to weld on a frame, like the 70 set I have now requires.

I have that seat trim layin' in my scrap pile. I'ts aluminum. Mine has scratches and dings, but it's free if you want it. I also have the inserts for the back- they look like a burlap sack wrapped around cardboard. They are ugly but nearly perfect.

I had a HUGE problem because of the /6 K-frame. Nobody makes a /6 to BB conversion for the C-body. Not even Shumacher (sp?).
Trust me!! That $1700 rust bucket IS worth it's weight in gold just to get all the correct parts.
The only hassle I see is when you have to add the frame mount for the Z-bar. Absolutely no room unless you pull the passenger side inner & outer fender off. But you'll be doing that anyway, right?
BTW, the 4-speed tunnel hump looks like it won't be salvageable. The $250 Harm's wants for the hump is well worth it. He's the ONLY one that makes one for the C-body. I initially tried to use the readilly available B-body hump but it didn't fit at all.

Wish I had a rotiss, but it's getting a frame off.

I frogot to mention the guy is going to Carlisle in July. He said he would deliver the car for $100.00 since he was bringing his wagon out anyway. I will be going to Breezewood, PA that weekend so he wants to meet up with me. Saves me the 8 hour trip which was going to take up a weekend.
I would have to be crazy not to accept a deal like that, and it justy freed up a weekend!

I saved this picture because it showed torque boxes, but also the rotisserie caught my eye as easy to make and it comes apart for storage. Just a thought. The car seems to be your favourite color as well.
