I just got the latest edition of MCG in the mail today, and they had the story...I think these might look really cool on my 300 ...not that I'm gonna drive my car like Bo and Luke DUKE did

Hey Steve They're 15" and I think they'll look GOOD with my car's color combo....it beats trying to hunt down a set of those COOL looking forged Mirada 10 spoke wheels or the 20 spoke Imp wheels... And I LIKED watching "The Dukes of Hazzard" on TV, so there *nyah* [ Edited Thu Feb 23 2006, 09:20PM ]
Had a set of 20 spokes on my '81 St Regis. Never saw another set in the flesh while i owned the car (82-89). found one NOS at 'Nats in the early nineties and grabbed it. Still have all the wheels, but am not ready to part with them cause they are all i've got left from the car (too many memories). I wish you well in your search.

I have the 10 spoke Mirada's on my car and so does my brother. Had to have them machined, painted and clear coated but they look GREAT. My brother has another 4 or 6 laying around in need of restoration.
Saw 4 used ones at the Nats last year for a decent price. About $150 for the set of 4. Needed cleaned up too. Service to machine, paint and clear coat was about $150 per wheel a few yrs ago. Use to be $100.

The Mirada/Cordoba forged aluminum wheels were painted in between the spokes the same color that the body of the car was. My Cordoba has charcol grey paint - body & wheels, which looks nice with the unpolished, acid washed aluminum. If I ever changed the car's color it would be Nightwatch blue, (and on the spokes too). If you put these wheels on your personal ride, think about painting them like Ma Mopar did for a factory appearance
