I finally got the Fury into a judged show. It was a local all makes show, 120 registered, sponsored by the local Sherif's office for DARE. I was in 3 different categories before the end of it! But ended up with 2nd place grouped in with some nice looking Camaros, Stangs and Vettes! A 69 Camaro still took first. Makes me wonder how I would have done if I had a good grill inplace and the interior in better order? I caught a glimpse of the judges sheet at the awards ceremony and they had me down as 4 out of 4 for paint and wheels. They judged trunks also???? I think it said 2, nothing special, just a clean black trunk.
I was kind of surprised, the guy next to me had an 80's?? Ford Fairmont and the judges were asking him all kinds of questions about the car. When they came to me I told them I would answer any questions they had about the modifications, they didn't say anything and spent about half the time as with the Fairmont. I just figured it was a typical brand X centric show and didn't get my hopes up.
They split the class by years and now the "plaque is in the mail" since they didn't have enough.
One show we did was not judged on correctness just quality of car in those catigories.
Our big show is divided into multi different area B/C bodies ect. Modified/stock. Of course the stock one we look for correct hoses, belts, paint color etc.
A nice car is a nice car in any judged field. Keep up the effort and make sure you get your Trophy. It's the first of many to come!

Plenty of trophies in your future, of that I have no doubt...
Mines won two, both from the Reddeer Mopar show.
First time I came second in the C Modified class to a virtually stock '68 with a 440 6 Pak
Did manage a first the next time out but car count was way down due to the inclement weather, like 5 cars in the class
Don't expect to win anything ever again tho...too much rubber caked on the 1/4's coupled with idiots who still think '55-78's should all be one class...
