NFURY8, I have a question for you too!
Did your 69 'vert have front and rear torque boxes or just torque boxes in the rear?? Since C body cars have a "mini" front sub-frame, I was wondering. My 67 300 'vert has the rear torque boxes for sure, but I'm not sure about the fronts. It may have....are they bolted or welded in?? The rear torque boxes are welded in for sure!

Look on Moparts.com. They have a lot of discussion about front and rear torque boxes. Apparantly, B and E body convertible and hemi cars had them. the front boxes just box between the front frame rails and the rockers,,,much the same way the rear boxes do. A sponsor of that site, Harms Auto, makes them for E and B body Mopars.

Dredging up an old thread here.... Has anyone else installed subframe connectors on their cars? What did you do?
Scott, I'd be interested to see a pic of how they're attached at the rear but shot from the opposite direction.
My project for this winter is (hopefully) going to be prepping a new front subframe for my hardtop, which would be a perfect time to weld-on brackets for subframe connectors.
I'm looking forward to putting something like Scott's setup on my 68 Vert, I just have to get it up here in the garage to work on it. Hopefully someone else will have done something on their car in the mean time...
