Well Dana, my "FASTEST" position on the list is going to be frozen with that time! I have been spending to much time and money trying to make my ride faster, when I will just be putting more weight back on when the interior is put in.
The fuel cell is a wash now! I DID NOT want one at the start (or I would have done it) and I like the gas tank look better.
My goal of "low to mid 12's" was reached. I am happy!
Let's face it, my magnum 500 rims are HEAVY....but that is the look I want! Not for racing! My gas tank is the look I want.....but not good for Milan! A dual plane intake is great....not for racing!
Bottom line is......my MAIN goal was to build a 66' Monaco 500 the way "I" wanted it and to one day....maybe.....get HIM in a magazine or ???? Constant changing of parts to go faster IS NOT getting an interior or paint on HIM!
Guess you win! !tape Maybe my NEXT CAR....a 1971 Roadrunner..will clean your clock! Boy, then you will REALLY have B BODY issues! Tony Pro!

!stop Pfftt...its not about winning. Its about someone sharing my sickness with fast C's. It's all good bro.
Besides man, its about time you finish that thing and get it into all of the Mopar mags...and not as a readers ride either lol.
I made a deal with the wife, this is gonna be the last decent money I'm gonna be spending on mine. I'm figuring mid 11's if I can get it to hook.
After this we are gonna build her a car...she just wants a cruiser but it has to sound fast lol...so I'll stick some rumpity rumpity cam in it for her and call it mostly good
She's still stuck on getting a Javelin which is a step up from her first choice of another '68 Cougar...although she was making eyes at a '65 Dart we seen this summer...
Hey US131 is hosting a Mopar classic event on July 21/22, you'd better plan on atleast being down for that !thumb I'm pretty sure I'm boycotting the Red Barns this year...when they figure out whats a C and what isn't, maybe I'll go back... [ Edited Mon Jan 22 2007, 06:42AM ]

I hear all that Dana. You know I'm up for Vicki getting the Javelin! I told her I had a 1970 SST with 390 GO PAK. Mean motha for a "factory ride" so to speak! I think a REBEL MACHINE would be better for her and the kids! !thumb
US 131....depends on the event! A run only 3 times bracket race? FORGET IT! We need the "little guy" stuff!
Paint and finish? Not quite yet! Now, it's ALL ABOUT $$$$$$$$! I'm not rich....that's for sure! I have been working lot's-O-overtime since I got out of college in July! Trying hard to finish!
I will be sending you a PRIVITE NOTE in the spring. There is a small something I want to put on the dock, and I will need your wisdom! Tony P.

Oh yea! Hey Dana.....when you gonna lighten up that motor? The state is tilting towards lake Michigan since I built my motor! I can put my car in neutral and coast over to US 131! Tony P.

Well alittle lol. Got them fancy new alum valve covers and have to get a new wp, aluminum it is lol. Debating on whether or not to get the housing 2, as I'm putting a new rad in it aswell, just havn't decided whether or not its gonna be alum or just a custom 3 core copper...
Then lets see... new tires, new cam/tc, new converter/vb, that means I get to ditch the kickdown linkage finally WOOT, still gotta get the back seat done...got the spring hangars switched already, and gonna gonna have to wait to get the rest put back together so I can see where I want the front end now...o, also gotta shave the bump stops for the upper control arms...and I'm pretty sure I warped a rotor out at 131 last time, I got a small shake now when I brake... !driving
