For what it's worth, the SSB kit will work with 14" steel wheels if you add a $5.50 1/8" wheel spacer to allow the wheel to clear the caliper. I got my spacers from www.stockcarproducts.com/wheels2.htm
SSB provides a good kit and good, friendly tech support.
I am planning to covert my 65 Sport Fury to disc brakes, I am considering either the Scarebird kit or the 73 set-up if I can find them. If I go with the 73 route can I use a manual disc/drum master cylinder or will I have to go Power brakes? If I find a 73 parts car what all do I need to pull, just the spindles and caliper brackets of are there other items I need to get while I am there?

Maunal Master...Sure! If you're maunal Drum now just use the pushrod from that & get a Manual Master.
Really just need the Spindles & Caliper mount. Prop Valve would be good to keep stock but you can use an adjustable to the rears instead.
Rotors and Calipers are available & calipers are cheap. Uaually no core charge either. Rotors can be pricey, haven't checked in the last year.
A friend has spindles but I forget whether they're 69-early 72's or the later 72-73. I can find out. Saw a few C-'s this weekend that might have discs too at a JY. Can always run back there & see.
Found a 73 Plymouth at a local (Fort Worth) yard today. Not sure what they want for a spindle/adapter setup, but it'll be a while before they can be pulled anyway. Although it's up on all 4's, it's sitting in a huge "puddle", about 4" deep, in the very back of the 'yard. It would take heavy equipment to pick the car up at this point.
Clair next time I am in Dallas I will look you up. I lived there a couple of years ago. I will be down in the spring or early summer visiting my friends.
Sounds good, just keep me posted. I know I've got a couple trips in the works for the first half of the year, still ironing out the dates. There are several C-barge folks floating around here, too. I saw a NICE 66 Fury yesterday on my way to the 'yard. I would have stopped to get photos, but there was traffic behind me.
