I am looking for a new carpet for my 68 Newport, after a heater core failure resulted in coolant soaking the carpet. Anyway, any tips on who makes a good fitting, authentic replacement carpet, or any outfits to stay away from?
He's a Legendary dealer & discounts their stuff. Service is outstanding!
The carpet is ACC ( Auto Custom carpets ) usually, even from Legendary. He also carries Trim Parts carpet & it's pretty good looking too. I got samples of both to see the color difference for a Burnt Orange carpet we just put in a 70 GTX from Dante. Slightly different from each manufacturer.
You just missed his Xmas sale.....10% off.
His c-body carpets are 189.00, at least you can check pricing with Legendary & see what they get.

You can also get kits of various quality from JC Whitney. I got two sets from them years ago - one for a '61 VW and the other for a '70 Challenger. I was pleased with both. Prices start at under 200, and can go towards 500 depending on what you want.
There are so many carpet suppliers out there I would suggest doing a call search. Hemmings Motor NEws always has ads for people selling kits for Chryslers, including NOS stuff. These are often cheaper than other places already mentioned above.
