I need to replace the gas tank strap bolts on my '89 Ramcharger. A local Dodge dealer told me they're discontinued, but I don't know that for sure. I bought some for my '88 RC within the last year or two, and I even found some for my '66 New Yorker at a dealer a few years ago. I got a part # from Ramcharger Central of 3736765. Can anyone verify if this is the correct P.N.? I might try a different dealer or two just to see if they have different info. This is the last thing keeping me from having it running. Thanks!

Is it a funny looking J type bolt????? then any Mopar tank bolt should work Tom I had a hard time looking for them when I replaced the gas tank in a 68 Barracuda coupe many years back

The only thing I've "heard" is that the truck ones might be longer than our older cars style ones.
I know the ones for our cars are still out there, just can't remember if it's a repro or a factory part. Pricey from what i remember, 25.00 -30.00 for a pair.
Unless you are looking for concours correct, you can do what i did. Bought a couple of bolts at hardware store that had an eyelet at the top and chopped them with bolt cutters so they looked like question marks. They fit right into the slots in the frame of my 67 Fury just like the factory J or upside down L bolts did. Not "factory" correct but had plenty of purchase in the frame to support the tank as well as the factory ones did. Other suggestion, if your bolts hang straight down from slots in the floorboards, see if you can find carriage bolts that fit the slot. Good luck and "Git-er- Done".
Thanks for all of your suggestions. I found a Dodge dealer that had some. The 4" ones my truck should have are discontinued, but 5 1/2" ones are still available so I'm getting those.
