Retard the timing some so you don't detonate with the increased cylinder pressures(faster burn) you'll see, and obviously make sure you aren't running lean. Most problems with nos are related to improper setups or usage of excessive amounts. 100-150 on a big block mopar isn't over the top. [ Edited Mon Oct 10 2005, 04:13PM ]
If i was done with my engine bottom end equation i could tell you what all the max forces were. How many Rpm are you reving? Your RPM reciprocating max load on the rods may exceed the cylinder pressure induced max load on the rods.

If your "T" means ME, I'd rather not say! I'm loosing respect for you quickly with even the suggestion of "SPRAY!" I know it's your car Dana, but REALLY! You were doing so good before hand and still maintained a 0.3 second advantage over me! Now, the party is over since one of us is NOT on motor now. Bummer! You should listen to me for once. Roller rockers, aluminum water pump and housing, 1 7/8 th TTI headers and single plane. Add those and you WILL be in the high 11's! I don't need to tell you that. You should ALREADY know that! Those need to go anyway, they are like minature C'bodies inside your engine, robbing you of much desired horsepower, especially at rpms.

Yea Dana, take another tip from me! Eagle H beams with LIGHT forged pistons. Since your in the "MITT" now, you should contact MUSCLE MOTORS in Lansing. Not to far from you. Redo that 440 slug right this time! It's only money! Tony P.
I have the 440Source H-Beams in my Fury. Been told they are nearly identical to the Eagles, just cheaper. Think I paid $360? The machine shop said they were matched pretty close on weight, and was impressed with the quality when I told them how much they were.
Any thoughts on what the max horsepower the Eagles should be considered for?

Yes Scott, the Eagle H beam section in "SUMMIT RACING" catalog claims over 700 BHP for small blocks and 850 BHP for big blocks. More than enough! Tony P.
