Haven't done too much lately, but I did take the Polara to the Mopars in the Park show today. Had to fix a fuel line on the side of the road three times in 2.5 miles to make it to an AutoZone. Got that fixed and it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. Beautiful day, and the host club even posted a picture my car on their FB page.

Mopars in the park will by my next destination show I think, after seeing the pics from this year. I will be at back to the 50s in a couple weekends. Going with my friend Mark from Oak Grove who's truck you might have seen at Mopars in the park - 1951 Dodge B-3-D (1-ton), red cab with black bed.
Sorry I'm late to this post. Absolutely 100% agree, stay positive and stay active. That's the two most important things to success. Glad you're back in a good place and making good progress.
Got the wagon out to start the year. Felt good to start it up, and fairly easy for a car that hasn't been started in 4-5 months. Hadn't even charged the he battery that was never disconnected since parking it in early November (I think). I have only driven it a couple of miles, but it starts willingly and quickly, I'm use to my cars being a bit more grumpy on start up after sitting for a bit.
Took her out today for a diagnostic spin to see what she needs. Steering/front end needs to be looked at, it's a little sloppy, but drives nice otherwise. Ran fine at highway speed, 70 mph. Still has an exhaust leak, but not as bad as I remember it being last fall. Air comes freely through the firewall, so ventilation isn't an issue! Brakes are very good, but the pedal doesn't return as it should, and I pull it up with my foot. Hopefully some lube will help with that. The speedometer doesn't work, so I'll have to look into that. But my phone fits perfectly in the speedometer area, so I use an app to know how fast I'm going.
Took UNBREADED out for a drive of ten miles to get a prescription, and it overheated. I popped the hood and could hear hissing, but didn't see any steam other than the overflow tube. Went to a store and let the car sit for about forty minutes while I was inside. Came out and saw a small crack next to the upper hose. I put a gallon of water in it, and headed home. It was whistling when I rolled into town, and was steaming when I parked it. I have the aluminum radiator I put in Cicada, so that will go in over the weekend after work.
On my drive I noticed the slop in the steering, ev n more than the last time out, so new tie rod ends will be installed. Shocks would probably be a nice touch as well, but they are still acceptable for now.
And the water pump is bad. Of course it is. O'Reilly's won't have one until Wednesday, but I might have a 440Source aluminum unit in my stash. More parts I'll steal from the int need vehicle, my '67 Dart. Yeah, I should have just assumed it was bad.
