I posted this at the other place but figured I might as well post it here as well.
The rear tack strips on my car (69 Polara) are rusted. The best I could tell they are not used as "tack strips", I assume the rubber is to help hold the top in place.
Question 1. I have seen new ones for a great many different cars, not the 69 Polara (that I could find) Does anybody know of a source?
Question 2. The material looks pretty generic, was it a standard material that was cut and bent by the different car manufacturers for the different cars. Could I just get some for say an Impala and fit them?
Question 3. Another option would be to get some aluminum bar and fit it with a piece of rubber bonded to it. Then fit the snaps. Would this work?

Funny, I didn't think to look there (I got my new cylinders and hoses there). They do list the 69-70 Fury and it should be the same, Chrysler is different.
