Poser; can a '68 -'70 B body sending unit be successfully adapted to a '65 - '73 C body fuel tank?
Reason for asking, Holley has come out with a drop in fuel pump deal for '68-'70 B bodies, seems like the least painful retrofit for adding fuel injection to the '68 at some point in the future.
My previous plan was to buy a new fuel tank and have it modified to fit one of the more "traditional" fuel pump solutions but I like this one MUCH better. Any input?

My input would be no, it doesn't fit. I'm certain there is something different on the B tank otherwise C body guys wouldn't have struggled over the years for units. There must be a reason the reproductions are C body specific.

I suppose with some fabrication a C body unit could be modified with the Holley components? Looks like Holley is using a fuel mat so depth would need to be modified?
I will be monitoring this thread to see how it works out for you. I've been thinking about FI for the Monaco but frankly from the little I've read it could be a PIA to get set up properly. Someone technically challenged like me benefits from those who are willing to go out on a limb and try something new.
Shot from the hip info here... If I am not mistaken, the B tank has a smaller capacity, but may be able to fit in place of the C tank. Now that I've made my unsubstantiated claim... I'd recommend you research measurements of the strap locations and go from there. If the C tank is deeper, I'd consider it more hassle trying to make the pickup properly fit than losing a few gallons of capacity.
FWIW, I like the idea of fuel injection, but am not a fan of ANY aftermarket system with little hope of long term support/parts availability.
A little massaging of the length of the pickup and the float arm might be in order. Any change in the arm length could be adjusted using a Meter Match to make the gauge correct.
The big thing is the hole in the tank is in relatively the same spot.
