I threaded the cable down and let the starter hang loose from lower stud in the bellhousing.. Reason why is wiggle room to attach cable to starter given the upwards facing connectors. Once they are on I went ahead and tightened the starter to the engine.

As you can see,withthe TTi pie not a whole lot of room. Mini starter is easier to handle in a tight space. Not to mention it cranks the 3 ought 3 over much quicker than the gear reduction O.E type.
