Haha, yeah. They work great and are really stable!! I got the car all back together yesterday. I'll take some outside pictures as soon as I can clean it up. Do you guys know where I can get thr front window chrome? The top piece that goes across the windshield is no good and I cant find any anywhere!

Finally got it sanded and buffed. Now I just have to wash it and do some deep cleaning. I have most of the badges on, just a few left on the hood. Also, I'd like to black out the grill and headlight buckets.
It definently is not perfect but it looks much better than it did!

I got impatient yesterday and instead of cleaning it up, I went to my buddies shop and started to tear the suspension up. The leaf springs were about flat and the whole front end was ORIGINAL!! The Pst full front end kit should make it drive much better! Then I might feel like cleaning it!! Hahaha Before pulling it in the shop, I had to take one more photo, I love this color.
I only had a couple hour before I had to go but I'll go back tomorrow and finish it up!

The car is looking great, the paint is outstanding! Do you plan on any side chrome to break up the gray wall? Wheel opening moldings would i think look pretty nice, at least they did on a '68 vert I bought back in '69. That car also had side molding, a fairly wide white strip, it looked good on my maroon car but I'm not sure about your gray. Maybe one of those strobe decal strips like they used on the 70 and 71 Fury GT's.
The rear springs on both my '68 318 and my 70 440 sit virtually flat. They look bad, but that's how they are supposed to look. I don't know the numbers but I would guess the 440 and the 5.7 hemi should have about the same torque. My '06 Jeep has a 5.7 hemi and it winds up the rear end bout the same as my 70 440 vert, at least they feel bout the same. If I was you I'd try it out with stock hangers to see how it handles. with the previous owner dicking around, maybe check the pinion angle and the final driveshaft angle.
Damn nice car, gived my left nut to take it for a drive!!

Hey guys, sorry for taking so long with an update. I cleaned the Fury up a little more and blacked out the front grill. I also got it tuned and dyno'd. I was kinda let down with the power numbers but it is actual wheel numbers. (342whp and 349tq)
I also now have 1200 miles on it since getting it tuned. I LOVE it!! I get around 20mpg on the highway at 70mph and thats with my 3.73!! I just got back from a 12 hour round trip with it and it was flawless. I even got caught up in some snow, which it does not do great in!! I tore out the old carpet and still have to put in the new. I also need to get headliner and some other misc interior parts done. I also learned that the fresh air flaps on the kick panels let in some cold air (20 degree weather with no heat.... not fun).
I had to make a frame for the back glass to sit on since there is literally no one that makes a rear glass gasket. I never thought getting the back glass put back in would be such a hassle.
Cleaned it up a little before my 12 hour round trip!!
