Really getting the itch for some kind of short header set, ceramic coated for sure. Stock '74 440 in HEAVY Imperial with 3.23's out back and stock trans/convertor. Not looking for strip use, just some headers to compliment the soon-to-be-mounted Edelbrock RPM manifold. !banana Stock Thermoquad ... any real-world users? !driving 440cj

Naw, it's a '74 with lots of room around the engine compartment. Mini-starter also which I hope helps. So far, the best time I have changing out ALL the plugs is 21 minutes. !banana Even the '74 Dart Sport 360 I had took longer than that! Just want something that will breathe a little better ... 'course I'm old enough to remember the old " 4-barrel, cam and headers ( 3/4 cam, remember?)" days. Gas came out of the pump with a blue tint ... smelled like ... gas! !tape 440cj

A friend and I both have a 73 Imperial, and we're considering how to fit headers on those. My main concern is that headers dissipate more heat underhood than stock headers, and heat will not be beneficial for the overall performance of my propane-burning car.
By the way, you car looks great! I love black 4 door Imperials!
