Has anyone had any experience of Galaxy tyres? Im about to buy a new set off wheels and tyres and was going to go for BF Goodrich raised white letter again. They have jumped in price quite a bit. The specialised tyre place I used has got some Galaxy R1 GT raised white letter at nearly half the price. They have the same load rating a higher speed rating and a more modern tread pattern. If you look them up they seem to be a tractor tyre maker. Has anyone used them?

Ok had another look and the company is called Vitour and predictably they are chinese. The company is only 10 years old. So normally I wouldn't go anywhere near a chinese tyre considering the massive price difference Im temped. They are a nice big chunky RWL too.

General Grabbers are on our Jeeps. We have had two sets of generic label Chinese tires on our Ford Focus with no problems whatsoever. The Elite are seeing to it that not much of anything is being manufactured by well-paid labor anymore.
