Wow Rich, real sorry to hear your body is letting you down. Exercise is the key, do some everyday. Walk up and down the street, get a dog to take on walks. YaDaYaDa heard that all before Ièll bet! The only nugget of knowledge I can pass to you is an old saying "Use it or lose it". This I learned the hard way.
Every morning when I wake up, I check for a pulse then inventory which body parts are on strike today! Lately it's been legs, knees nd hips. Next June when I renew my driver's licence I need to present a Doctor's medical as proof of life. I've come to the conclusion that getting old sucks!
My back is shot (4 herniated discs + arthritis), my neck is shot (2 herniated discs + arthritis), both knees are gone and need to be replaced... Well, at least my diabetes is finally under control, but I lost 12 teeth in the process. No more steak or anything else that is chewy... I have made friends with soup and pasta!
Not to worry, I will check in every now and then... right now I've got to get busy and round up all the spare parts for Dave.

I'm so looking forward to carrying the torch for Rich with this car. He's done so much to it that I wanted to do to a C. He even chose the same wheels I wanted to put on one. When I saw the car for sale, I knew in my heart it was "the one".
A good friend came over this weekend and shined the car up for Dave..looks better than it has in years! He uses "Chemical Guys" products, and gave her a bath with some wonder soap that took all the dirt off (she's been sitting in the garage collecting dust most of this year) then he cleaned it with a clay bar, followed by a polish, a coat of sealer, then a coat of wax.
He looks way too young to be a retired AF Senior Master Sergeant!
