2 or 4 bbl?
The production numbers for our cars wont really matter for another decade or two when our cars may actually be worth as much as a -decent- new car...
40 made wouldn't surprise me though, a very small percentage of C bodies were 4 spd
I would buy it anyway if the cars is ok and at a good price, there cant be too many of them - 40, 400 or 4000 made would make little difference as its "only" a 68 fury - the factory 4spd makes it more desirable than many others though, a well running factory 4bbl from 67 or 68 is a good score performance wise if you dont need to replace pistons
If its rusted out and trashed, its not worth much anyway - If its in concorse condition then yes the sports/convertible/4spd will make it an "investment" figure price sticker
Plenty of normal cars can be 1 of 20 or whatever just due to option combinations ordered - that car will prob be a 1 of 2 or 6 or whatever due to engine, clolour and trim combo
If you do pass it over - be sure to post up here as no doubt someone here will want it
I have all the prodution numbers for just about all cars and trucks up to 1980,so email me you vin and I can find oout or call me at 450 424 0445/5146590445,mrmopartech

Ouch, that kinda hurts. I know when it was new it was a base model, but the 68 Fury was always my favorite C-Body. Especially the two door, non sport roof, hard top.
