I haven't been on this site for a few years. Just rejoined. My car is a 67 Chrysler 300 vert. Have had a lot of work done since I've had it for 11 years.
Anyway; I updated the suspension considerably. The parts were sourced from Just Suspension and Firm Feel.
I've got 1.16" torsion bars, Tubular upper control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends and strut rods from JS. Got my steering box, idler and pitman arms and p/s pump rebuild from FF.
What's happened to Just Suspension...anyone use their stuff///
To be fair to Just Suspension, I've got a lot of their suspension parts and have not had any problems. I've been running my car for about 8 years or so with their stuff; and I DO drive my car and sometimes hard.
It just worries me that I've tried to call them and just get a recording that says they're way too busy to answer the phone. I've tried to leave messages on their web site and never get any answers

Hi:
I have done a lot of what you have done (and more) to my 67 Polara 500 Convertible although my parts all came from Firmfeel.
I installed their 1.12" torsion bars and was wondering how you like the stiffer 1.16" torsion bars that you have?
My guess is that your car is a little heavier than mine so the torsion bar performance is probably very similar.
Hey, well, upgrading the suspension is the most extensive mod that I've made on the car. I'll give you a list:
Just Suspension Torsion bars...1.16" Tubular upper control arms Strut rods and bushings, Tie rod ends Jounce bumpers, cam bolts and upper control arm bushings Lower ball joints for Budd disc brakes
Firm Feel Front sway bar...1 1/8" Rear sway bar....7/8" Steering box....stage 2 KYB shocks Lower control arm reinforcing plates Rebuilt p/s pump
Rear springs by ESPO and steering coupler form Steer and Gear
As far as ride and handling goes, BOTH are much improved!! The car does not have a stiff ride at all, just firm and well controlled. If I were to do it again; I'd source all my parts from FF and get the 1 1/4 inch torsion bars and the 1 1/4 inch sway bar.

These are the modifications that I did all from Firmfeel:
1.12" torsion bars
1.25" front sway bar
0.875" rear sway bar.
Bilestein shocks
Heavy duty strut rods with polyurethane bushings
Greasable lower control arm pins with polyurethane bushings
Tubular upper control arms with polyurethane bushings
lower control arm reinforcing plates
stage 2 steering gear box
Also:
Rear springs from a 72 New Yorker
73 C-body front discs (car originally was Budd discs)
Summitt Racing rear discs
80's factory steel wheels with BFG radia TA 255/60/15
I would say that my car does have a stiff ride but that was what I was aiming for. I am sure that the shocks and tires both contribute to that. The Bilestein shocks are pretty amazing for what they do.

Some time ago I bought 2 new 1" torsion bars for my daily '73 Dart. After a while, one of the bars broke. The way it broke showed it was most likely due to a material defect. Just Suspension sent me 2 new bars on warranty. Remember I live overseas in Europe.
Seems to me they got their warranty policy in good working order.
