Has anybody installed a TTI dual exhaust system on a fuselage Imperial? I'd be especially interested if someone has done it on a '72.
Differences in the length of the wheelbases and differences in the front sub frames and suspension makes me wonder if a "C" body system will work on an Imperial...
I must confess that you have found out that I have never done anything that you have mentioned. It seems as if "key board knowledge" has no equal to Hands On.

I'm sure it could be made to work, but I think it would have to be modified a little. As you mentioned, the Imperial wheelbase is longer by 3" forward of the firewall. So I would think the head pipes will come up a little short?

I do have TTI exhaust on 69 Polara and the tips seems to be short of the body lenght. I´m considering to extend them a bit behind the rear fender, to keep the noise down. I found my current setup too loud for longer cruising, although I love V8 rumble.
My setup is 2.5 system part # C25MWM6573, with DYNOMAX SUPER TURBO MUFFLERS.
