The short update is that work/life got in the way over the summer. I have the headers sitting in the shop waiting for me to get the engine back in. I just painted the block this weekend and I hoping to get the final parts bolted on in the next week or two. The goal at this point is to have the engine in by December.

I know all about life getting in the way of the hobby.
I'm new to this forum. I found it when I did a search for TTI exhaust for C-Bodies. This thread caught my eye because I called TTI last week to ask if their manifold-back C-Body system would fit on my '67 Imperial. They said they didn't know, and after doing some searching told me that they had a customer who was putting a full system, including headers, on a '73.
So 66NewYorker, if TTI gives you a call asking how it turned out, it's because of me!

They did indeed call me. I just got the engine in the car but I still have the stock headers on to break in the engine. Don't want to burn the ceramic off the new shiny stuff. Looking at it, there should be plenty of room for the headers to fit in nicely. At least on the '73, with the 3" longer wheelbase on the Imperials it looks like Chrysler moved the motor mounts back 3" so that everything from the C's would line up. I found a '72 Fury in the junkyard that I took measurements from before ordering the headers to come up with the previous statement. On your '67 I'm not sure what the differences are going to be between the Imperial and the C's. That's the first year of the unibody Imperial and I don't know how similar the K-frames are.
As for actually getting the headers and the exhaust system in, it's still going to be awhile on my end. I fly out for work in 2 days and will be gone for 2 months, so there will be no progress on the car until March. My new goal is to have the whole exhaust system in by the end of March.

Figured I'd update an old post, just in case somebody else crazy like me decides to try and put long tube headers in an Imperial. I got the headers installed last night, they fit perfectly. The only difference from the TTI instructions is that I unbolted both engine mounts and jacked the engine up until the trans hit the firewall. They then slipped right in. I mocked up the exhaust, it looks like a perfect fit too. The plan is to weld get it completely hung over the weekend.

The header adaptors and H portion of the exhaust are in, but I can't really get a good picture of it being only a foot off the ground. The car will be up on a lift to finish the exhaust install in a few weeks and I will have more pictures then.
