" Three years later and it's actually going to be on the road again! " Yes Sir, very good to hear. My Chrysler has been setting for purt near 10 years. Currently putting gaskets and seals in the motor for what we used to call a "Sherman-Williams rebuild", so I can move it under it's own power.

Three years seems like forever but I guess it's not as bad as some!! So I officially pick up the car tomorrow and I will be driving it home. I still need to hook up the headlight switch and other misc things. I will post a video as soon as I can. I will also do a little review of what I think of it too!

Hey guys, I took the fury to the track to see what it would run and 3rd gear went out. Thankfully I had a trailer and was able to tow it home. Got the trans out of the car and third gear was trashed. I have a buddy that has sourced a TKO 5spd that I hope will just be a bolt in (wishful thinking I know). I also ordered a comp cam 273 with other necessary parts, since the hemi didn't feel that fast to be honest. I will post pictures and info when I can! Also I am finally going to be getting the body work to fix the rust and dents! I did notice at the track I had terrible wheel hop, any tips? I have looked into traction bars or replacing the old worn out leaf springs.

Yes, I got rid of the stock computer because I had nothing but problems. Diablo couldn't tune it, hp tuners wasn't good either! So I spent the extra money and just went with the whole megasquirt system. I wish I would have done it to begin with, I actually would have saved money. I LOVE the megasquirt, I can change ANYTHING in real time while driving. It also has self learn as you drive for the tables. I am running old air shocks in the back.... so that probably isn't ideal! The rear leaf springs are also sagging pretty bad. So why no traction bars on the chryslers? I was about to buy the cal-tracs from POL since they are only about $350! Also, I am installing the cam, springs, and timing chain this next week! I will report in when its done!

Good deal!!! That's super annoying that those guys couldn't come through, what the heck!??!!?
Definitely get the springs sorted out. I'd also definitely ditch the air shocks. Check out the adjustable Strange shocks; although at this point I think you could just get the saggy springs out and do some shelf KYBs or Bilsteins.
Ah, sorry, thought you meant "slapper bars" like you see on a Brand-X car built in the 1980s. Cal-tracs are the real deal!

Also, the car was originally red, then blue, now its black with the white stripes. It was an older restore with bondo covering rust over both quarters, so I decided its time for a change. I am going to put patch panels in and sand it down to bare metal and do it right. (Even the door jams... ugh) Here is the color combo I want to switch to, I fell in love with it when it first came out, I wont be putting the T/A stripe on the sides obviously. I cant decide if I want the satin black or if I should just do gloss, what you guys think?
Also, side note, I added a new daily driver to the fleet!! (My first new car ever, 2017 Ram 1500 R/T)
