Car is worth every penny if that car drives as well as it looks. Try to duplicate that car for that price and you'd be surprised of the grand total and effort involved.

Thanks hotroddinwillie for defending these cars. As a newer member to some Mopar sites, it seems that most car adds are picked apart & devalued. I'm also looking at what doesn't need to be done , for example I would rather pay more for a 50 year old interior that looked like that than less & have to redo it. I just bought a 65 Monaco convertible & I'm finding out just how expensive some replacement parts are.

You are correct but that is a big if. I would guess that the car is very original (minus the hubcaps which are not easy to find) which means that just about everything on the car is fifty years old.
Still a very nice looking car and probably worth close to the asking price depending on what it is like up close.

A lot of people on this site including myself remember when these were $500 to $1000 cars. They were used for parts for hot rod projects. However considering how their b, e and a body cousins have appreciated it only is reasonable that the c body's have appreciated. They are great drivers but poor investments generally with a few exceptions. Im happy with a 20 footer condition c body that's super reliable with all the systems working.
