Now, what can I do for this car. Is there a way to swap late(r) model ma' mopar disc on the front or am I stuck with SSBC and the likes.

Last time I checked, SSBC does not do brakes for C Bodies. There are other ones out there, but you might be able to switch with a later model. You will need to stay C specific however.

Stainless steel brakes do have a C-body disc brake conversion kit. Other option would be using scarebird conversion adapters with hteir recommended parts, will cost a little less that way, or find a complete set out of a '66-'73 C-body, everything between upper and lower control arm and teh associated parts (pressure regulator and maybe disc brake master cylinder). The recommended donator is a '73 C-body, parts are easiest ot find. Avoid the 60's sets, especially the early Dove(?) brakes, because parts like new discs are non existent. Newer than '73 c-bodies are different.
I can speak to the Stainless Steel C-Body Kit, as I put it on my 66 New Yorker. It went fairly smoothly except for two things.
1) The new master cylinder interfered with the mounting bracket for the Auto Pilot, had to move the bracket a hair and then cut a hole through it for the one brake line.
2) The calipers just touched the rims. Solved with a 1/8" wheel spacer.
Lots of options! SSBC, AAJ, Scarebird, and another that escapes me. They all use custom plate brackets to mount a custom or Chevy caliper on the old drum spindle.
My preference is to use factory Mopar parts. As mentioned, the 73 C-body donor is the most sought after, but 69-72 also works just as well. The 73's prefered only because the rotors are cheaper. In this swap EVERYTHING just bolts right in - Presto!
Toss in a rear disc swap like the TSM kit, which is also dirt cheap and easy, and you will have an AMAZING brake system!! I have the 73's up front and TSM's on the rear, my 4 wheel disc 69 Fury will out brake both my 2000 Intrepid (also 4 wheel disc) and 1997 Dakota! I replaced the booster, master, used a Mopar(Wilwood) adjustable prop valve and all new calipers and rotors. I have less than $1000 in my ENTIRE brake system, which also includes all new Stainless lines.

So probably the hard part is gonna be finding 73 spindles and the mounting bracket for the caliper as is the rest ought to be able to be purchased new. Oy vey, time to hit the yards...
