probably gonna get negative feedback but i prefer solid mounts.i have a monster motor so rubber wasnt gonna cut it .at idle my motor moved alot with rubber mounts which to me caused more vibration in my car than now with solid mounts.poly locs are great but expensive.using a torque strap was an option but that puts added stress in another area not intended for that.solid mounts are cheap and im confident they will never break or melt and need replacing.
The poly loc mounts don't seperate like the OEM ones do but they will melt if you have headers, at least with the Heddman shorties. You will need to fab a tin heat shield to protect them. They do transmit a bunch of vibration also.

so ironic that the guys making the melting poly locs make the c body headers to melt them with

I think the Tri-Y's might actually be far enough away to prevent melting.

Slightly off topic here, but for anyone planning to put a 440 in a '65. Schumachers mounts are not as good as they should be. On the lefthand mount, the holes for the two bolts that go into the bosses on the front of the engine are too big. Also, if you are planning to use a Saginaw style p/s pump, the same mount needs modifying. Even so, its still not as good as it should be.

When putting the Schumacher Polylocs in my 66, I found that they use a larger bolt to attach to the frame than the standard mounts. My drivers side fit OK, but something was just a bit off on the passenger side. I had to get a drill bit or die grinder in there to enlarge the hole in the frame slightly to get it to go together. It's a bad time to discover that when you're trying to wrestle the engine into place. They should've come with some instructions to say "test fit before installing".

I had similar issues with my 66. The bolt did fit without having to add "clearance" but there is NO wiggle room. The engine has to be in absolutely positively straight and level.
There are places for +/- .001" precision. This isn't one of them.
