Looking at Rock Auto site to add parts for future conversion . I have what were told to be 72 spindles , so I need the earlier rotors . The new ones made are also listed as unicast , like the 73 ones . I guess the difference is in the bearings now . Rock auto has several listed : AC Delco for $140 , and some from Wagner for less than $30 . What am I looking for ? Rock Auto offers a return , but trying to get it right the first time . Been awhile since I've posted , or driven the Fury . 3 boys take up most of my time . Hoping to squirrel away parts as I can .
Thanks in advance for replies/advice . This site is AWESOME !!!
Look up a 71-72 Fury 0n rock auto: they show a Bendix rotor for $25- it has the hub like the 69-72 should--see pic (the Raybestos #7012 is $150 each). These will have the proper bore for the bearings you need:
Inner is 1.25" ID, bearing # BR6 or A6. The outer is .75" ID and is bearing # BR2 or A2
Measure the spindle to find out which one you have: the older model measures 1.25" where the inner bearing sits, and .75" where the outer one is. The very late 72/all of 73 spindles measure 1.375" and .875" (1/8 inch fatter on each)

Krautmaster is correct on how to figure out which rotors and bearings that you need.
I was in exactly the same position as you about 10 years ago. I had installed front disc brakes from a 72 Fury on my 66 Newport.
I was visiting Canada and decided to go into a Canadian Tire store where they seemed to have a really good price on rotors for the 72 Fury. I went back to Spokane with rotors in hand and found that they did not fit. Bought a pair of the correct (3 x price) rotors from Advance Auto.
So while I was doing this I had a pair of 1973 rotors (Canadain Tire) and 1972 rotors (Advance Auto) side by side. The rotors were identical, even down to the casting number. Talk about confusing. The only difference is how they are machined for the bearings.
Also note that the 72 rotors take the same bearings as the front drum brakes.
The good part of this story is that I held onto the 1973 rotors and ended up installing them with 73 spindles on my 67 Polara Convertible a couple of years ago.
