Yeah I will miss this one. Its a blast to drive. I think what I am going to miss the most is going to car shows and parking next to big dollar rare cars and people ignoring them and looking at the Polara.

Thanks for the comments guys, However I am having seconds about selling her. I drove it about a 100 miles today and had a blast. I saw on for c bodies only a few people made comments about it being a sleeper and it needing a deeper rearend gear so it wont break. lol I don't thing they get it. If I wanted to build a fast sleeper car I wouldn't have used a 20' Dodge. The car has plenty of get up and go but its a ton of car to get moving. Or dare I say two and half tons. I have had some interest in the car and some pretty fair offers. Not sure what to do..... UG! Wish a guy could keep them all.

A good pro paint job these days is $7000 without any rust repair. A decent 2 door car to start with, 69-71, is going to be $4000, an interior re-do can eat up $2000 in a hury, a nice running 440HP $4000, a complete 6 pack set up with air cleaner $2000, figure $4000 for tires, rims, radiator, tranny, 4 speed pedals, stripes decals etc and I see the $23,000. Gee that leaves nothing for the fabrication it took to do the conversion to 4 gear. Did you keep track of the hours to build it? I am amazed you made the shifter fit. How much clearance do you have before hitting the dash or the seat when shifting?
