[quote] Found my car.........Anyone want to sell me body & Interior? 1969 Plymouth Fury K-Code Police-Pursuit 440 4V Posi-rear-end Disc-brakes 140 Speedo, $2000 Richmond, VA.
Hey Paul, are you going to grab it? How good is the body, looks like it needs a bit. It would definitely interest me if you don't want to chase it.....

might be worth grabbing this one. they must be as rare as hens teeth
Yes, quite rare. There are only 3 documented PK21K cars known to exist, with the 440 K code. This is the third car known. One from the VSP, one from GSP, and this car. Rare indeed. Too bad it is sooooo rusty. But it and be restored, with time, skill and $$$$.
Hey Fury GT, would you possibly have pix of the VSP and GSP cars? Would be great to see them. Didn't know these cars are so rare, what's the story, most have been just wrecked/parted out?

Thanks, Aidan
Hello Aidan, I do have photos of both of the VSP and GSP cars. The owner of the GSP car asked me to keep the specific info on his car private. The GSP car was a marked car, code 99 paint, two tone green and white. The VSP car is an unmarked Hi-Pursuit duty car in Black and served from 1969 to 1971. Both cars are numbers matching and original, needing restoration.
The 2 door post PK21 code Pursuit cars are very, very rare. In fact, so rare that most MoPar people don't even know they exist. They are rarer than the 1969 Dodge Polara CHP cars. Those who know, believe the PK21 440 V8 cars to be THE "Holy Grail" of MoPar police cars.
Plymouth built approximately 30 of these vehicles with the 440 V8. Most were driven hard and put away wet; then they were parted out for their drive trains. They just don't exist; except for the three known survivors. There were more PK21 cars built with a slant 6, 318 called the Plymouth Patrol. The 383 V8 and 440 V8 cars are called the Plymouth Pursuit; either in E85 360 HP Police only Commando configuration or the E86 375 HP Super Commando and are extremely rare. So rare that only three are known to survive. There was a fourth car that was parted out and crushed in 2007.
Hope this helps shed some light on these mostly unknown MoPar Police vehicles.

Hello Fury GT. That is interesting information about the 440 pursuit cars. I have a PK21 H9D (383 HP 4bbl) pursuit car I'm currently searching for some trim parts for. Do you happen to know the production numbers for them. I even think of it as the "Holy Grail" just to have survived with 196,000 + miles on it.
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was curious where to find out information on the production numbers of '69 police cars? I believe I may have the motor out of one in my 'Cuda and was wondering about the origin of the 440. Thanks in advance!
