The car show and swap meet aspects of this show have been heading in the wrong direction for several years. However, the racing remains awesome.
Are you bored with car shows?
Do you have a stock or relatively stock C Body or other MOPAR that you would like to take down the quarter mile?
Have you drag raced before and hate bracket racing and having someone slam on their brakes at the lights to beat you? Are you tired of waiting forever for all the cars to get down the track?
If your answer is yes to any of the above, consider racing with the SuperCar group at E-Town. ( www.supercarraces.com ). The SuperCar racing series runs heads up with a Pro Tree- no getting an early or late start against you opponent based on a dial in. After qualifying, the fastest cars are put in a ladder to compete and the rest of the cars are matched up to their closest opponent by quarter mile time for a best two out of three race. There are trophies for winners, best paint, best engine compartment etc.
I have raced with this group and am hooked. Weather permitting, I will be running one of my '68 Sport Furys at this years event.
C Body cars are welcome as are most American made cars from 1957 - 1974.
