Everyone had a good time touring the facilities at the Legendary Motors shop in Milton, Ontario last year. I would be happy to organize another get-together. If you missed it last year, a thread with photos is here: http://www.cbodydrydock.com/forum_viewtopic.php?8.143584
The "Drag Strip Memories" drag racing nostalgia show is happening at the Canadian Warplane heritage Museum on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 11a-4p. I wasn't able to attend last year, but this pic that I found online sums-up the event pretty well.
They have a flyer for the 2013 show now, so it looks like the event is really happening.
Due to the timing of the event (11-4) and the fact that it's a big crowd instead of just our group attending, I was thinking we could meet somewhere to eat (brunch) first, then go to the show after.

Yes, I have been trying to find a suitable location to meet for breakfast before going over to the airport. Best I have found is the Whistling Walrus on Upper James. They take reservations, but they're not open until 10:30a and I wanted to find something a little earlier. The place I was thinking of in Mount Hope is apparently out of business, as their phone in not in service. I will post here later today with meeting arrangements.
You are welcome to bring friends. Please let me know so I know how many people to make reservations for at the restaurant.
So far I have: Raggare (Per) Duane (C-tanker) John (John66ny) Tim (mkymws) -- tentative NO (below) Me my brother (not a Docker, has 66 NYer) Joe (not a Docker, has 66 300 conv) Mike M. (not a Docker, has 66 300 4dht) +1 guest Jim (not a Docker, has 72 Cuda) possibly +1

I just made reservations for 10 people at the Whistling Walrus for 10:30a. I'm sure I'll be able to call back later and update the number of people if there are more or fewer of us.
Their webpage is http://www.whistlingwalrus.com/ They are on Upper James not far from the Linc. From there we will go south on Upper James, which becomes Highway 6, to Mount Hope.
