Dana, after looking over things today, adding a BUNG fitting to my B body factory tank will do little good. The fuel tank will still be BELOW the fuel pump. The track...MILAN....was also whinning because every time I launched, fuel was spilling from my tank, via the vent cap or my factory vent tubes. I figure...enough is enough!
I want to get a Summit Racing 16 gallon fuel cell with 2" drop down sump. One question...are you running a filter BEFORE the Elec. pump? If so, what kind that will NOT impeed flow on the suction side. This is a PUSHER pump, not PULLER!
Anything else I should know? No gas sender on your's I take it? Tony P.

Can't remember what the sender unit has to be sorry.
No filter, prolly, but its been goin for a few years like that now.
I run -10 to the pump and 3/8" to the reg on the fender, dead headed with no return. A return should make the pump last longer and might even help quiet it down some.
As for the airpan seal, was 2.5"'s roughly, tended to compress more in the back than the front, gonna order some of that Moroso stuff here shortly, hopefully its not too dense otherwise I might. [ Edited Mon Sep 25 2006, 07:59AM ]

I believe a filter is a must before the pump. I'm no Barry Grant fan, but I do like their filter (BG5000). It has very little restriction and is very well suited for use before a pump. Gotta gravity feed those electric pumps though..........
A return style regulator is always preferred, but not mandatory. I have an Aeromotive one and I love it.

Yea Dana, Summit sells a "Mopar equivalent" sender...from 10 to 70 Ohms! I checked my 66' manual, and that was VERY close to the factory rating. Factory goes to 76 ohms. Anyway, they sell RCI cells still. Tony P.
