My wife had COPs on and there was an episode from Fort Worth on, I didn't see all of it, but just enough to notice the guy they were haulling off was sitting on a white 69 Fury Vert! It look pretty solid, intact top, complete fenders and quarters. It had the big block hood ornament.
Anyone in that area know anything abour the yard or the car?? Long shot, but interesting way to find parts!

JC's is close to me, I've known that yard for ~ 30 years, always lots of "drama" there. They used to keep poisonous snakes there, one of the employees got bit and came in the hospital where I'd taken an injured co-worker. Apparently, he was also hopped up on drugs and giving the staff and police a bad time.
I've scored some real buys there, the best I recall right now was a corvette tri-power air cleaner for twelve bucks. That was when I was running a six pack on my Fury and needed to run my A/C compressor with it. Seemed the only good solution at the time and I always enjoy pissing off the chevy guys...
Crap! I was two yards down from there YESTERDAY! Same time this was posted... I didn't go to JC's, partly because those guys are on crack some times, and partly because their Mopar content kind of sucks. Guess I need to go take another look some time...
OTOH, the yards I did go to (Apache and Little John's) had the usual suspects. Apache added a 72 Polara 4-door, and LJ's had a 73 Charger big block car I never saw before. Under a 65 Valiant, of course, and pretty picked-over, but the HP400 was still there, along with the HP manifolds. Interesting. I picked up some ePay pieces, but nothing for my C.
