High 12.90's.....heavy car, street gears, 450+ hp, mild enough compression, probably leaves the line hard but runs outta steam at the end of the 1/4 mile.....nitrous would get it into the low 11's

The folks here seem pretty realistic! Let's see here: Good "cube" engine.....ho-hum compression Good intake......poor choice carb size...750 hurting upper RPM'S Cam ok.....could be bigger for "cube" size Good size headers Good stall size.....help launch So-so gear size.....boarderline Good heads Good meat's size......M/T's GOOD! Not a lite car.....AS WE ALL KNOW!
All in all, I would say, with a GOOD driver such as you or me, low to mid 12's IF it is biteing! If you recall Dana.....from the "BARN" a few years back, that guy with the RED 64 Polara....you know....the one that his WIFE painted and I was floored by, he ran a 12.5 as you may recall! The wifeeeee did a GREAT job on that car! Tony P.
PS: If this IS the one, remember.....I saw it run too!
I was gonna say 12.3's, but now I'll say 11.9's. That's pretty light for a C! A buddy of mine (who recently joined the Dock but hasn't chimed in yet) just got a 67 Newport 383/non-AC car that tips the scales at about 4300 ready to roll.
