Well, it won't win any awards for being pretty.....but I finished the oil system for the 526" Hemi.
After spending some time under the car, it's obvious there is much less room for increased capacity than you'd find on a B/E or even an A body car. On the pass side there is the idler arm, and to the rear is the drag link. Not much room to the front, and even on the driver's side the Pitman arm gets tight.
So I dropped my plans to make an aluminum pan and modified the stock pan. I dropped the sump 5/8" which puts the bottom of the pan dead even with the crossmember. I'll add a skid plate but you could probably get by without one. Then, I added a kickout on the driver's side. These two mods added right at one quart, so now I have a '6 quart' system.
In my opinion, if Mopar stamped out a new pan with all the proper bulges they might pick up another 1/2 quart but that would be it.

On the inside, I added a trapdoor for the new kickout and some accel/decel baffles. I then had it Teflon coated for extra slippery-ness and to prevent corrosion.

Then, because I have grown to dislike the stock windage trays, I made a windage screen setup which also has a crank scraper on the passenger side. This hopefully will work as good or better than a stock tray and allows me to not use two gaskets....I've never liked the two gasket setup. In fact, I used Right Stuff sealer and there is no gasket at all on this installation.
This could not be done on a stock 440 block engine but the Hemi had extra material on each main cap that allowed me to bolt the screen to the caps.
The pickup is a Milodon which I lengthened and re-positioned the pickup screen to be perfectly flat with the bottom of the pan.

Greg, you did a great job on that!
I have my ride height set at 6'', and have nicked it twice when I was not careful going into a steep driveway too fast. No problems with speed bumps or curbs though. I do need to get a better shield like yours welded on....
