Hi fellas; I know this has been covered before, I'm swapping over to 73 discs & rotors. Question is, do I need the entire knuckle assy from the donor car or just the spindle & rotor? John

You just need the spindle and the backing plates if available. But you can easily get around the backing plates by using the 69-72 disc style and trimming them a little....see my build thread on teh wagon for how to do that.
Everything else you can get new or reman'd, rotors, calipers, pads, lower BJ's, hoses etc.
Hey Brian; Happy new year to ya! The house took priority last year, gotta keep Momma happy !whip I hope to get at the wagon a.s.a.p. it bugs the hell out of me every time I walk by it. !drive John

Hi fellas; this goes back to an earlier post, my 66 wagon has the Budd disc's! can I just swap the spindle, or do I need the entire 73 knuckle? !study John.
I'm assuming by "knuckle" you mean the spindle and lower ball joint: the Budd Discs use a completely different spindle and ball joint than the 65-73 drums and 69-73 discs (which use the same part) so you will need to get the drum/69-73 disc ball joints too.
Here is a pic of the Budd Disc ball joint ($450 each from just suspension)
And here is the 65-73 drum brake/69-73 disc brake ball joint ($160 each)
