In my '68 Fury I have a '68 Chrysler tilt column. The steering wheel is in terrible condition. I also have a '69 Chrysler tilt column with a good steering wheel. Question, is the fusey column a straight bolt in to the '68? And if it's not a straight bolt in, can it be made to fit?

The Fusey column will not fit your slab. Why change out the whole column?? Swap out the wheel. All tilt/tele steering wheels were the same from 1966 to 1968.Imperial,Chrysler,etc. The wheel can be removed and has been done in the past to replace TS switches, etc. For interchangability, the '66 tilt/tele is a one year only in Chryslers.Imps had their own too. They mount differenty under the dash. Different dashes in '67 changed them again. At least all C's could interchange.Imp had their own. 1968 saw federally mandated collapsable steering columns and are different again. The 67's will fit, however.Again,Imperial had their own. If am wrong please feel free to chime in and correct me.I am going by memory. Hope this helps

At least on a Fury, I'm certain they'll interchange. And since the column in my Fury came from a Chrysler, I'll go a short way out on a limb and add '67 and '68 Chryslers as well. I have NO experience with the Dodge but would suspect the same there.
I may try the '69 column in the '68 but it won't be anytime soon. Today I hung the repainted drivers door and pulled the drivers side fender so I could get the hole saw in for my power window conversion project. At this rate I expect the project to take two years...
