WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Anywho, STRONG suggestion here. Switch to an MSD 6al box like I have and mount it in front of the rad support like I did! It will NEVER GET HOT and fire away all day! It is said to draw 10 amps for all you electrical freaks keeping tabs out there!
I will be thinking of you this SATURDAY at Milan.....home of the C BODY NATS NORTH I!!! !thumb Yes, they moved it up 1 month for better weather! Tommrow is gonna be AWESOME! !thumb Tony P.

In my experience, ALL of the aftermarket boxes are lacing in reliability. I've had at least two MSD-6 boxes fail. One kept cutting out intermittently. I sent it back and they 'fixed' it. I asked the guy if they found anything wrong with it - he said yes. I asked what was it and he said 'whatever it was that was causing whatever problem you were having.' Not a confident feeling. Of course, it wasn't fixed.
The worst of all is Jacobs. No, I've never had one fail but that's because I avoided buying any of it.
The stock Mopar box may be bettered by others in terms of performance but not dependability.
Another relocation option is on top of the front fender well. It gets good air from around the headlight bucket and doesnt catch rain. Mine is in there with a panel over the opening to the engine bay for a clean look. As for a replacement I am very happy with my MSD but the Crane is all my racing buddy uses. All seem to be good boxes. Hurry so we can watch some more video of you smokin those new fangled cars.

Arlen, I don't know lol...took all the connections in the harness apart including the regulator pins, cleaned em, put it all back to together and no more problems other than the crane box...
