This is a picture of the dual snorkel air breather I made from two units.. I had an extra 2 barrel one that I drilled out the spot welds and attached it to the 4 barrel one I already had..
I'm going to paint it black wrinkle paint...
I angled them farther apart to try not to grab warm air from the rad..
I fiberglassed over the extra holes..
Let me know what you think?..
You can also see that I swapped the cast iron magnum intake for a M-1 dual plane and 1 inch spacer...BIG difference in bottom end....
the little grey dots are from taking the picture in the rain...
this is a great system, looks very "cool".and when all four barrels are in the wide open "verticle" position, nothing sounds finner.I have seen simmilar "duallies" with 3/4"holes drilled in the back and under the outside bottom edge of the housing as to still perform it's intended use of filtering the incoming air and allowing more air volume as the ends of the snorkles might be on the intrusive side.I would think that with these it probably flows as good as any "open"assembly and it has "sleeper" written all over it.The black wrinkle would finish it off nicely.Glen

Have a vinyl graphics guy computer design and spit out a decal for the 361 pie pan and strip the paint off of a repro tin (maybe spray it white for a good background) - that would look cool! (Super Commando 361.... 361Magnum....TNT361....361Ramcharger....hmmm)
