I recently purchased a 1968 Fury III from the original owner. It is a black convertible, with the 383 Commando engine, and with a factory 4 speed. It has a white interior. My friends say this is kind of a rare car, and I was wondering if anyone would know how many of these were made. It has a front bench seat. It has a tall shifting lever on the floor. Thanks for any help you can give me. Patrick

Patrick,
Some might say you have found the Holy Grail of Cbodies, especially if it is unmolested. 4spds in the 67-68 cars are quite unusual but when the 'vert is factored in you got one odd and rare duck. I know of another b5 blue 383/4spd FIII 'vert that was for sale about a year or so ago. It shoulded up at the Mopar Nats in Columbus in 2000-2003 window.
Now before anyone else beats me to it...
!welcome to the Dock and please share this piece of Cbody deliciousness with people who appreciate what you have.
At the yard yesterday here in Denver the guy has a 68 Polara vert with all the power stuff and it has a 4 speed. Body is in great shape on that one and the interior is nice too....Red car white top and he will only sell that complete. He has allot of those that were ones he wanted to save. He even has a mid year Sportgrain complete car excellent shape
!welcome Any vert is rare as is a 4-gear and when you have the two together,...well i guess the word would be VERY RARE!!!! Black paint w/ white int. is also kind of unusual i would also say! Good score !thumb

I am new to this, so I am still trying to figure out how to post the pics. When it stops raining here, I will pull her out of the garage and get some pictures -- hopefully later today. Bear with me -- I am new to the computer and have to get my wife to help.

I see I'm not the only Patrick on the board with a rare '68 Plymouth Fury variant. Can't wait to see your pictures and I will be posting mine soon.
