im going to swap a bb into my 67 fury sedan and was wondering if i only need to change the motor mounts?? [ Edited ]
You are probably gonna need a "C" body oil pan, #187 or #699 stamped on the pan itself. It has a clearance notch to clear the steering link. Rad change also will probably be in order. Exhaust manifolds must conform also. You might run into a bit of trouble w/throttle cable also being too short .Also belhousings are different. You might have to change the power steering pump also as some small block pumps had a different offset, although i could be wrong here.Other than that it should be a piece of cake!!!!.....
The rubber mount is the same. The metal engine bracket is different, but it is the same for B & E bodies. So they are plentiful, can get pricey depending where you look. If you don't have air, the small block radiator can be used if you get creative in your hose selection. It might not have enough capacity though. Lokar has everything for the kick down and throttle cables.

Don't forget that the wiring is slightly different as well.No biggie but the leads for the dizzy and coils need to be lenghtened. Yes,the small block and big block p.s pumps and brackets are different. You can re-use the hoses, though. Changing out the rad core support to fit a larger B/RB rad is a PITA but it will be worth it.If you plan on doing that, why not go for the big 26" for an A/C car-support and rad and all. In 2004,I changed out my motor in my NY'er with the support out of the way.It made things easier and also while it was out I did some detailing...

BUT, you don't have to pull the core support if you pull the hood. Not sure on that 67, but on the 69 you have to practiaclly pull the fenders to pull the core support.

Yes,Scott,it was not necessary.I did it 'cause I was "there".My core support and inner fenders had many layers of overspray on them and looked awful. For me I found taking it out made the difference in detailing it,and working on the motor as well, that's all. I had to loosen up the front portion of my fenders to get it out.Only the bolts at the doors held them in place after I removed the core support. [ Edited Sat Jan 27 2007, 10:39PM ]

You don't need to pull the hood or the core support if you use short enough chains. Done it a few times on a few different cars. I don't like removing the hood, especially on a car that it's never been removed before. Gotta keep that original paint and overspray on the bolts!
However, I have removed the hood on the '68's all by myself multiple times. It's hard on the back.
