I was gonna go 300 on this but thought WTF for? Aside from the cool factor I have zero interest. I hope it goes to restore a police car and not into a lame GT resto.

How bout a lame Chrysler 300 resto, lol? I seriously considered this one, I think it would have fit in place of the clock. Two things that I miss on the 300 dash are a temp and an oil pressure gauge. I hate the idea of those after market, under the dash mounts and have been toying with incorporating something from another Mopar of the period.

If Chrysler went "idiot light" only on the Chryslers to give an upscale impression, they made a big mistake given that their fusie radiators/cooling systems leave a lot to be desired in terms of capacity. I sure would like a temp gauge on my Chryslers to monitor what is going on and get a feeling for what may need fixing, if anything.

I disagree. The cooling systems were equally designed across the board and were adequate for the times. I do see a lot less cars on the side of the road with over heating issues these days. I'm certain technology has come a long way but for 1970. They cooled as designed. I wouldn't doubt most systems that you encounter these days that are 50 years old weren't maintained.
Well I really didn't need it...but I would have put it to use in one of my 71s.
Glad it didn't work out though. I am after a 1-14 70 Dodge speedometer. Thats the last part I am after with the exception of clean sheetmetal (doesn't seem to exist)
