Just about every year I have to remove one or both of my 1970 300's parking lamp lenses and bulb, then carefully stake around the steel socket flange where it is peined-over the pot-metal lamp housing. This is because the socket has "lost its ground" to the housing so the bulb won't light correctly. I'm sure there is a simple way to correct thisproblem permanently . . . but I haven't figured it out yet. Have any of y'all?
