I have been debating selling my 1965 Chrysler 300 for a while now. I purchased the car in 2010, unknown on which owner I am. It's mostly original although it was repainted the original color at some point. I had the drivers seat reupholstered in 2014 with new carpet. 383 auto, runs very well with 98,000 miles. I don't believe the motor has ever been rebuilt.
New battery last fall. A/C was converted to R134a in 2011, works but not as cold as it used to be. This car did not come from the factory with A/C, this may be a dealer installed unit as I believe the date showed 1969. My goal with the car was for it to look just like it did when new therefore it's riding on repo bias-ply tires from Universal Tire. New shocks as well. Everything works except dash clock. All gauges function fine. Plugs, wires are recent. Have been having some issues with the choke, carb is Carter 4-barrel. I have a 1965 service manual and original owners manual.
I am asking $9,500 for the car OBO. I very much enjoy the car but every summer it's driven fewer miles. Hate to see it sit in the garage most of the year so testing the waters to see if there is any interest. Here are a few pictures, can provide more if need be. Thanks for looking.
