Another thing.. I will need a reducer for coolant temp sensor,anyone know what is the thread that extra plug on the water pump housing between the heather hose nipple? '68 383

I've got the fitech coolant sensor that is 3/8 NPT thread,but i could't find that plug thread. This American and Imperial measures is still a black hole to me.

To your first question, I glossed over the FItech manual, specifically the tach signal requirements: I don't think you'll have any issues in this area. It would work with correctly operating points.
