I have acquired a 65 Chrysler Imperial that I wish to split the brake system to a dual master cylinder. It's power brakes with drum/drum setup and I wish to leave it that way for financial reasons. What MC would replace the "jam jar" with separate reservoirs for front and rear. Make, model, part numbers etc. would be appreciated and it would be great if your recommendation is a straight bolt on with a power brake booster.

I did this conversion on my 64 Imperial. I am pretty sure that the master cylinder I used was from a 67 full size Chrysler. Go to Rockauto and you can find the part numbers.
You can connect the line that goes to the rear brakes directly to the front outlet of the master cylinder and then connect the distribution block at the front of the car to the rear outlet of the master cylinder. There is one extra port in the distribution block which will need a plug.
Also you will need a 1/2" to 3/16" adapter and a 9/16" to 3/16" adapter to be able to connect the master cylinder to the brake lines. When I did my conversion about 5 years ago both of these adapters were available at NAPA for under $10 each.

Thanks guys, what you recommend is just what I thought. When you go thru Rock Auto's listings I noticed the dual drum/drum was not used by Chrysler until 1968 and even then disk systems for the front were showing up.

First year for dual-circuit master cylinder was 1967, regardless of what Rock Auto says. 1968 MC will be the same though, so a 1968 Chrysler drum-drum MC is what you want.
