Guys, I know there are virtually thousands of threads on headers and I've been looking through these for quite a while, but as there are so many variables to take into account I can't find anything that really match my exact scenario.
Does anyone have any info/experience/advice on fitting the TTI 440 headers to an RB 440 engine with Edelbrock Performer aluminium heads (angled plugs) in a 66 Polara? This is for a new engine build as I've just realized that my current factory HP manifolds will run very close to some of the plugs with the Eddy heads. Plus, I think LT's will allow this fresh build to run nearer its full potential.

I'm running those headers on my Imperial with the Edelbrock Performer heads. I can't give you a difference on power and engine breathing, since I went from a stock 440 with logs to a 505 stroker with the long tubes, but they fit real nice. I put mine on with the engine in the car. I didn't have to beat or bend anything to get them to fit. It wasn't easy getting them in though. The flange is extremely close to the torsion bar on the passenger side on my Imperial, but I don't ever hear a rattle as if they are contacting.
They fit great and TTI has a great customer service! But in my 300 it seems I am stuck now with the ori-T-bars. No place to go bigger as 0.98". Apart from that: great product!
