I have been absent here for several years. my 68 VIP has set in storage as I raised a family. Now, my son who is 16, has given me the fever again. So today, for the first time in years, the ole boat roared to life. It needs some work, but I have faith. I hope to keep posting here and keeping anyone interested up to date.

Welcome back! Post some pics please. I'm glad to hear your son helped to re-kindle the fire. My son is 14 & over the last few years "my" Fury has become "our" Fury. I just took him to Carlisle for the first time last week. We had a blast.

Just like yours. 2 Door fasttop. Pics soon. Needs much tlc. Just drove it in from my dads where it has set for a few years.
My VIP had started out as an uncle's car, then later my grandfather's. When he died, it sat in a field for 13 years before I got it in late 2009. Had it on the road by the end of 2010 and when the weather doesn't call for salt, I drive it two or three times a week. Needs dent repair and some minor rust repair. Interior is surprisingly good.
