There was a thread like this on one of the "old" Ford forums...
Can anyone recommend a good carb rebuilder for Edelbrock carbs/
What about someone who can set up a distributor properly???
The last time that I looked into getting a carb rebuilt it was just a little more money to get a brand new carb. My guess is that is probably still true.
Unless you need the carb. for originality I would look at buying a new modern design carb.
Not sure what I want to do now with my carb; its not quite right but I'm getting tired of spending $300-400 dollars on new carbs and they still don't act right!

And that's why I went this route. There are some aftermarket carbs that come recommend. I however am a factory stock guy. I sent these guys my carb , it took about a month looks amazing and runs real well.. . . . .
Buying off the shelf at the auto parts store is usually rebuilt stuff by who knows who

I presume you're asking about the Edelbrock Performer (AFB) 750 on your '67 Chrysler. According to your other thread it's only 3 years old (unless you bought it used). Why do you think it needs an overhaul versus adjusting the calibration?

For original carbs. Scott Smith of Harms Automotive is, in my opinion, the best there is. He is a moparts member.
He does it, from the hardware right down to the fit and finish. He flow testes them too. All new factory correct hardware, finish, and bushings. No more expensive than some aftermarket offerings. You will receive the very same carb you send him. Definitely worth a look see.
